How to add your SharePoint Site to the Intranet ZoneUse SHIFT+ENTER to open the menu (new window).
How to add your SharePoint Site to the Intranet ZoneEnd User FunctionsBrowser
This short video shows you how to add your SharePoint site to the Intranet zone. This is helpful in ensuring you aren't constantly prompted for your username and password when you access SharePoint, including when you might be repeatedly prompted for user credentials when opening documents from a document library.

Note: use caution and only add your site to the Intranet zone on computers you trust (such as your home, work or your mobile computer). Do not do this in Internet Cafe's, mall kiosks or airports, etc. where the machine can't be trusted.

This video shows quickly, how to open your SharePoint Document Library as a Windows Explorer Window.

To open your SharePoint library in an Explorer view (so that you can cut and paste documents, etc.), go to your Document Library and choose Actions, Open with Windows Explorer.

Note: if you are getting prompted for your username and password, ensure your SharePoint site is in the Intranet Zone (see our video on adding your SharePoint site to the Internet Explorer Intranet Zone).

How to disable unnecessary Add-Ins in Outlook 2007End User FunctionsNA
This short video shows you how to disable unnecessary Add-Ins in Outlook 2007 that may be causing instability (or slowness) in Outlook. In Particular, I find disabling Adobe, Groove and other plugins that I do not use or find value in, helps with Outlook stability. Google and MSN Search may also be problematic, particularly if you don't use them actively for Outlook search.

How to Get and Submit your Outlook 2007 Message HeadersEnd User FunctionsNA
This video shows quickly, how to acquire and submit your Outlook 2007 Message Headers (for example, to your System Administrator or IT Suppor Provider).

Often, to combat spam, it is useful for us to have Outlook "Message Headers" to work with, so we can extract details about the person, machine, bot or jerk that sent you the message.  By sending these along with the original message, we have all the ammunition we need typically in order to help prevent it arriving again.
